The slit lamp is the most important tool in the eye professional’s exam room. New attachments for digital image capture have expanded the usefulness of this instrument.
Successful performance with the “Digital” slit lamps is not without problems. Best results are obtained only after practice and effective use of optics and illumination. Expect a bit of a learning curve.
